The day after Christmas

Hi cats and kittens

So I survived Christmas. With the exception of Exmrmayhem, it went fairly well considering. I received some great gifts, spent time with lots of relatives, and ate entirely to much food. Grandma made it through another holiday. She was a great sport on Sat at my dad's and came to my house Sunday eve for supper. She doesn't ever eat, but she had her wine in a mayonnaise jar in tow so she was ready to rock, oxygen tank on, nicotine inhaler in her mouth, mayonnaise jar in hand...I love Grandma Boom... I got to see all my cousins. I had an interesting chat with one cousin who informed me of his latest plant collection, and his plant growing experiences, another who lives in DC who I see only every couple years, another cousin who just got back from Chili where he has been traveling abroad, it goes on and on. Still no appearance from my cousin on the run...
My dad got me a computer-YAY!!! It is not here yet so it is not up and running but I so desperately needed one!! I can hardly wait!!

This morning I am up at my mothers and so the great job search continues- UGHH!!!
Duffy, the 122 lbs golden retriever, brought us a present this morning, a rabbit head. He was at the front door with it-and he was ever so proud being the hunting dog that he is. We graciously thanked him, told him he was a good boy, and disposed of it immediately. I know I have said it before, but this dog is incredible. You are either a dog person or you aren't. I am a dog person. I keep asking if I can just take him home, I miss not having a dog. When I am up here he never leaves my side- he is a great dog:) There were a tone of stupid turkeys in the yard this morning. Turkeys are such stupid fucking animals. They are ugly and they make a mess. Anyway, Duffy had fun chasing them for me. Good dog- stupid fucking birds.

I went to Gypsy's house last night after my meeting where I was greeted by one older sleepy boy, and one smaller wild child who jumped off the bed and into my arms when I came into the room(I never knock, sooner or later I am going to find her in a compromising position..) anyway, the little monkey jumped into my arms and told me how glad he was to see me. Gypsy, you have great little monkeys!! Anyway, Gypsy gave me a cock for my kitchen. She said it's good luck ( it's a rooster ), and she also told me that now I have my very own Cock. I love it. I needed my own cock...

So, New Years is a week away- what is everyone doing??
Sounds as though I will ring in the new year with Special K and that crew-assuming that is still the plan?? What about everyone else??

Well, since New Years is upon us, any New Years resolutions??

Duffy is snoring. I had no idea that dog's could snore so loud!! Big dog, big snore.

I hope Santa was good to you, I hope you got all you wanted. I hope you spent time with your family and friends. I hope you had a very merry Christmas.

love you~ Mayhem

What would you think if I sang out of tune,Would you stand up and walk out on me.Lend me your ears and I’ll sing you a song,And I’ll try not to sing out of key.I get by with a little help from my friends,I get high with a little help from my friends,Going to try with a little help from my friends. What do I do when my love is away.(does it worry you to be alone)How do I feel by the end of the day(are you sad because you’re on your own)No I get by with a little help from my friends,Do you need anybody,I need somebody to love.Could it be anybodyI want somebody to love.Would you believe in a love at first sight,Yes I’m certain that it happens all the time. What do you see when you turn out the light,I can’t tell you, but I know it’s mine.Oh I get by with a little help from my friends,Do you need anybody,I just need someone to love,Could it be anybody,I want somebody to love.I get by with a little help from my friends,Yes I get by with a little help from my friends,With a little help from my friends.
